So, I'm trying a new look here. It's a bit more "cutesy" than "sporty" but the little birdie was so cute, I just had to have it. Maybe I can ask for a running bird, instead. Haha.

I'm glad to hear that other women find Angelina hot, too. ;-)

And, yes, I am running a marathon 5 days before my wedding! And, yes, I still don't have a cake. But hopefully, more updates to come after the weekend.

It's super hot today and there's a blackout in my neighborhood. I'm typing by candle light, actually. It's a bit of a paradox, typing on my laptop by candle light. Hmmm. Anyway, I wanted to go run at the gym again but apparently the entire area is dark. No electricity = no treadmill. And the gym is a quarter of a mile away. Darn. Maybe I should go run over there and see... BRB.

  1. Cute blog template!

I'm in Rocklin, East of Sacramento, and our heatwave has broken and the air quality is GREAT! What a relief!

AND I'm running the first 1/2 of the SFM (goal is 6 1/2 marathons this year). I think it's awesome that you're doing the marathon right before you get married. Wish I'd been that smart 19 years ago!

  2. I like the new look. The running bird is cute. Glad you got the cake thing squared away.

  3. Hey Julianne - Did a 10k in Central Park today. Wish you were here! Hot and sweaty though, so it wasn't very fast.

Did you get your Nike+ Sportband fixed? Maybe it's time to switch to the Nano solution! I've had mine for 2 years now and it works great.

  4. jason!
how fast did you run your 10k? is it still hot out there? i hate running in that humid nyc weather. but i sure do miss running in central park. :-( running in san jose just isn't the same. although, i did get to run over golden gate bridge on saturday... that was a decent alternative to central park. hehe.

yes!! i got my nike+ fixed and it's working fine now!! i love the watch. but i do plan to get a nano... maybe for my birthday!

  5. oh leslie, you're planning on running 6 half marathons this year? wow! how many have you run so far??
