Ugh!

After all the confusion and issues... I removed the Commentluv from my blog. I liked how it linked your latest blog posts on the comment form and such but I think it was just too confusing. I had a few "How did I comment anonymous" comments yesterday, which led me to go back to the Blogger commenting form. Unfortunately, I lost all the comments with it. :-(

Anyway, I had a good workout yesteray at the gym. I ran 5 very slow but easy miles on the treadmill, 10 min on the stationary bike and then another 20 min on the Elliptical machine. It also helped that the Golden State Warriors were playing. Although, they lost painfully to Utah Jazz. For being the "winningest" team on the NBA, they really suck this year. Although, I really think Corey Maggette is hot.

I also slipped and fell on the stationary bike seat and slammed really hard into the seat. (I tried to get off the bike to grab my iPod and well, my foot slipped. It was one of those cartoon moments.) And, yeah, it hurt SO bad... *there*. Ouch. I seriously saw stars. Somehow, I played it off and recovered to make it to the Elliptical. I'm giggling just thinking about what my face must have looked like.

I also totally rocked out to the new Britney Spears' Circus album. 5 miles went by really fast!
(Did I mention I'm going to go see her live in April!! So excited!!)

I'm thinking about a lunch time run today. Maybe I'll hit 6 miles.

And no, I haven't signed up for the Napa Valley Marathon, yet. I'm actually holding out for Run to Finish's announcement on the HBBC winners. I mean, I could get picked randomly (not as the winner, because I know I didn't win) and could possible get the entry to the Napa Valley Marathon!!

You never know!!!

  1. How did you manage to slip and fall on the stationary bike? Sounds painful though! Did anybody see? I would be so embarrassed!

  2. ouch, that must have really hurt, but with a room full of gym-rats watching i would have "casually" walked to the other machine while screaming on the inside as well!

  13. Eek! I still have painful memories of falling off the seat on a boy bike and hitting the bar with my-- well, ouch. Nice job CONTINUING your workout, and nonchalantly at that!

(I had to cut myself off Britney Spears temporarily after I walked around saying "womanizer" repeatedly and robotically all vacation long.)

Wow, awesome job on the run, bike and elliptical (minus the fall). I think we have all been there!

I'm still hoping you'll add San Diego to your list of races.

P.S. I really want to download some of Brit's new stuff...I really can't stand HER but I love her music. I also want the new Kanye albumn, I've heard good things.

  19. Sorry to hear about your accident! I did that when i was a lot younger and it hurt like hell. I cant imigine doing that now. Great job with all your running/other exercise activities!

I've been trying to decide if i want to put the money towards the new BS cd... i used to be a huge fan but not so much anymore. I had it in my hands at the store the other day and opted to not get it, but what the hell! Life is too short, i'll probably pick it up tomorrow!! :)

    Have a good week!

  28. Ack. *there* is not a good place to get hurt enough to see stars!

I think I have to listen to more of this Brit CD before committing. Then I'd have to hide the CD if I do end up buying it.
