Did everyone get to watch all the inauguration celebration today? I didn't get to watch it live but did catch the highlights at the gym, near my hotel. I didn't get a chance to run yesterday but today, I got a 7 miler at the gym after work. (I feel like I just repeated myself!?!) It was a great run, I did about 9 min/mile pace! Thank goodness the gym was relatively empty!
I don't have any pictures of Portland for you, but I do have photos of my run from this weekend. I did a 16 miler Saturday morning with my running group starting from the San Leandro Marina to the San Mateo Bridge. (8 miles out and back!) It was a gorgeous day and a decent run. I averaged about 10 min miles, a bit slower than usual but I'm happy that I ran the whole thing. And, it was a tad bit warm for me, again. Not hot, but warm. Maybe low 60s. I can describe how the beautiful this run was but as the saying goes, pictures speak thousand words. :-)
The San Leandro Marina Park
Me at the end of the run. I look surprisingly normal after the 16 miles!
(And not too bad without make up!)
