Hello from Portland!

I'm actually in Lake Oswego right now but it's not too far outside the city! And, I did have dinner Portland last night so, it kinda counts. (This is day 2 of my Portland business trip!!)

Did everyone get to watch all the inauguration celebration today? I didn't get to watch it live but did catch the highlights at the gym, near my hotel. I didn't get a chance to run yesterday but today, I got a 7 miler at the gym after work. (I feel like I just repeated myself!?!) It was a great run, I did about 9 min/mile pace! Thank goodness the gym was relatively empty!

I don't have any pictures of Portland for you, but I do have photos of my run from this weekend. I did a 16 miler Saturday morning with my running group starting from the San Leandro Marina to the San Mateo Bridge. (8 miles out and back!) It was a gorgeous day and a decent run. I averaged about 10 min miles, a bit slower than usual but I'm happy that I ran the whole thing. And, it was a tad bit warm for me, again. Not hot, but warm. Maybe low 60s. I can describe how the beautiful this run was but as the saying goes, pictures speak thousand words. :-)

Me at the end of the run. I look surprisingly normal after the 16 miles!
(And not too bad without make up!)
Sorry, don't want to make anyone jealous but yeah, in shorts and a tech shirt...And last photo of the night... from Aron's surprise birthday dinner on Friday!

Kristin, Maritza, Aron, Tara and yours truly...

OH! And, woohoo for the 44th President of United States!

  3. Ugh, your pictures are so painfully pretty. I kind of was considering taking my camera out for a run, but unfortunately, my surroundings look like a frozen wasteland, especially in comparison to beautiful CA. Ugh, so jealous!

And you look like a model post-run. Gooooorgeous!

  16. Enjoy the rest of your trip! If you have a moment, mentally transmit to me some of that sixteen-miler strength, okay? (As for me, I'm filing these photos away as "you look CUTE without makeup, fresh-faced and dewy" evidence!)
